New Functionality and Look Take EMS to a "Whole New Level" of Connectivity and Convenience


DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - January 18, 2011) - Dean Evans & Associates, Inc. (www.dea.com) today announced the newest generation of EMS facility scheduling, resource utilization and web calendaring software solutions.

The customer-driven enhancements to this latest release of EMS software make it even more convenient to communicate scheduling information with colleagues and end users in real time.

"EMS' new look and enhanced functionality take it to a whole new level," said Bryan Peck, an EMS sales manager. "This release will definitely be a crowd pleaser. It includes many enhancements that our customers have requested like the ability to divide charges across billing reference numbers, greater web browser access and email notifications with links that make it easy for end users to cancel or reconfirm their event."

EMS Campus customers will also be excited to utilize the new auto-synchronization feature, which automatically syncs and processes course updates from student information systems, Peck added.

Some of the additional new features* include:

  • First production version of the EMS Web Client, giving users online access to reports, the Reservation Wizard, Reservation Book, Browser and more
  • Post-meeting notifications for convenient meeting follow ups
  • Enhanced reporting, room editing, facilities viewing and search options
  • Visual enhancements to the Virtual EMS user interface
  • Additional catering functionality with automated warning if servings exceed the service order count

An AddThis option also has been incorporated into Virtual EMS, giving users the ability to easily share content on various social networks.
