Death of an Inmate at Archambault Institution

On July 31, 2014, Guy Dalphond an inmate at Archambault Institution died at Cité-de-la-Santé hospital in Laval.

At the time of his death, Mr. Dalphond, 55 years old, had been serving a sentence of 3 years, 8 months and 24 days for robbery since January 14, 2011.

The inmate's next of kin have been notified of his death.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
