Death of an Inmate of La Macaza Institution

LAVAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 3, 2015) - Correctional Service Canada

On Febuary 2^nd, 2015, Roland Dupré, an inmate at La Macaza Institution, died at the Cité de la Santé hospital in Laval.

At the time of his death, Mr. Dupré, 70 years old, had been serving since June 6^th, 2008 an indeterminate sentence for sexual offenses.

The inmate's next of kin have been notified of his death.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
