Deborah Merril, Co-CEO, Just Energy Group, Selected as One of Houston's Top Women in Energy for 2016

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - November 15, 2016) - Just Energy is proud to announce that President and co-CEO Deborah Merril (pictured) was selected by the Houston Business Journal as one of Houston's top women in energy at their Second Annual Women in Energy Leadership Awards.

Determined by a panel of judges, this year's honorees were selected for their remarkable achievements in three categories -- Women of Influence, Women to Watch and Innovators. Ms. Merril was recognized in the Women of Influence category, which honors top women leaders in Houston's energy companies based on factors such as career achievement in energy, contribution to company success, community involvement and leadership. Honorees include Presidents of some of the world's largest oil and gas companies, as well as CEOs of flourishing startups.
