LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - Santa is coming early to Las Vegas this year,
and he is bringing the gift of convenience to Las Vegans in the northwest
valley. Santa will officially open the newest Terrible Herbst location on
Saturday, December 19 at noon, and the celebration continues until 2 p.m.
Located in northwest Las Vegas at Cheyenne at I-215, the valley's newest
Terrible's is a complete convenience destination with gas station,
convenience store, lube center and car wash.
Santa is declaring December 19 as a "Great day to be Terrible," and will be
inside Terrible's taking free photos with all the Terrible boys and girls
on his list. Also part of the celebration are free $5 Chevron gift cards
for the first 300 people, free hot chocolate and Hershey's candy treats,
and a special $12.19 oil change in the Lube Center.
KKLZ-FM will be broadcasting live with their prize wheel, and there will be
an "I Love Mr. Terrible" coloring contest for kids, where they could win a
new Apple iPod nano. The first 300 kids get a Terrible's mustache!
Terrible's is a long-term official sponsor of Safe Place, and the Nevada
Partnership for Homeless Youth will be at the grand opening event
collecting gift cards for the Safe Place program. They are seeking
donations of $5 and $10 gift cards to area fast food restaurants, grocery
stores, drug stores and the like for area homeless youth.
