December 6, 2006 County Line Energy Corp. Elects to Drill Initial Well on Heavy Oil Prospect in Hayter, Alberta

Mr. Harry Bygdnes, President of County Line Energy Corp announced today that the interpretation of the 3D seismic data on the Hayter Heavy Oil Prospect has been completed and the company has elected to drill an initial test well immediately. Black Creek Resources and Canpar |Holdings have been notified that a drilling location has been determined.

Bygdnes states, "the geophysical data acquired was excellent and the geological model that was initially projected was significantly enhanced both as to potential thickness and overall size. The picture that we now have of the Dina Sand target zone suggests the possibility of a multi well drilling opportunity. The zone appears to have excellent up dip closure suggesting the possibility of a significant reservoir"

Although, there are several potential target zones on the property, the company will focus the initial drilling location to capitalize on the significant geophysical anomaly representing the Dina Sand formation.

The company also awaits final licensing approval for the spudding of the Consort Gas Well. Approvals are anticipated within the next 10 to 15 days.

Signed on behalf of the Board of Directors

Harry Bygdnes, President
