December Issue of the International Resource Journal Now Online

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Nov. 18, 2013) - George Media Inc. is pleased to announce that the December issue of The International Resource Journal is now available online at http://www.internationalresourcejournal.com/E-MAG/2013/Dec/IRJ.php.

In this issue, we're looking at the fuels of the future. Our cover star is technology developer Muradel, who is developing a method for producing sustainable crude oil from rapidly growing microalgae that absorb carbon dioxide and grow in saltwater. If Muradel can prove that the technology is financially viable and effectively carbon neutral, it could quite literally change the world.

We also look at the more 'traditional' renewable fuels of biodiesel and ethanol, speaking to the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) as it reaches its 30th year as a leading authority in biofuels. A much younger clean energy authority, the newly formed Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), reveals its big ambitions to revolutionise Australia's energy mix; beginning with de-risking renewable technology so that resources companies can begin to embrace it. Our featured renewable energy companies, iXocel Solar and Elementa Group, demonstrate two very different approaches to providing clean power for communities.

Our columnists this month look at topics as diverse as climate change, interface management and iron ore, in addition to an overview of how mining companies in general fared in 2013. All of that is in addition to our monthly pick of features on enterprising resources explorers, developers, producers, suppliers, contractors, service providers and campaigners from across the globe.
