Decisiv Announces Partnership With Hino Trucks

Service Relationship Management Platform to Be Deployed Across Hino Service Supply Chain Including Fleets, Dealers and Hino Diagnostic Center

GLEN ALLEN, VA--(Marketwired - January 06, 2016) - Decisiv, Inc., the leading provider of Service Relationship Management (SRM) solutions for commercial assets, announced today a partnership with Hino Trucks, the premier provider of Class 4-7 commercial trucks. The partnership is in support of Hino's connected vehicle strategy and the rollout of their INSIGHT platform. The INSIGHT platform, standard on Hino 2017MY trucks, provides real-time connectivity through INSIGHT Telematics, INSIGHT Remote Diagnostics and INSIGHT Case Management.

The Decisiv SRM platform will power INSIGHT Case Management by enabling communication and collaboration across Hino customer fleets, dealers and the INSIGHT Diagnostic Center for service and repair events, especially high severity faults captured through INSIGHT Remote Diagnostics. The companies are currently in pilot and expect to fully roll out the integrated solution in early 2016.

"Through this relationship, INSIGHT Case Management powered by the Decisiv SRM solution, will become an integral part of the Hino service supply chain and customer experience, driving uptime and efficiencies for everyone," said Dick Hyatt, President and CEO of Decisiv. "INSIGHT Case Management will enable service event case creation and management capabilities that result in more effective and efficient vehicle maintenance for Hino's customers and their dealers."

Under the agreement, Decisiv will capture diagnostic codes, vehicle condition, location, and mileage data from INSIGHT Telematics. This information is used to establish severity and recommended repair plans and will automatically notify fleets to facilitate the required service action. In addition, this information will simultaneously be shared with the Hino INSIGHT Diagnostic Center and Hino dealer to maximize the efficiency and coordination of the service event.

Hino fleets will receive a license to use Decisiv software, INSIGHT Case Management, with the purchase of a new truck, and can purchase additional licenses for other assets from Hino Trucks or Decisiv.

"INSIGHT Case Management, powered by Decisiv, will allow us to provide up-to-the-minute repair status, send preventative care reminders and stay in touch with our customers throughout the lifecycle ownership experience. Allowing us to maximize uptime and provide a greater level of total support," said John Musial, Director of Service Operations for Hino Trucks.
