Deep Focus Promotes Senior Leadership Team

Ken Kraemer Promoted to Chief Creative Officer and Matt Steinwald Promoted to Group Creative Director

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 10, 2014) - Deep Focus, part of Engine USA, is excited to announce the promotion of two senior leadership members to new positions within the organization. The appointment is effective immediately, Deep Focus CEO Ian Schafer announced today.

Executive Creative Director Ken Kraemer, who joined Deep Focus in 2009, has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer. Along with his previous responsibilities -- such as leading creative programs for Nestlé, Purina, Nespresso, Lay's, Ruffles, Rold Gold, Pepsi, MoMA, and Pernod Ricard -- Ken will be responsible for setting the agency's vision and product mix. As Ken explained, "I'm proud to be a part of an agency that has continually evolved to offer the brand stewardship clients need while also being an irresistible place to work for people who love to make things. I look forward to continuing to help Deep Focus lead in both of these respects in my new role."

Prior to joining Deep Focus, Ken was Creative Director at LBi IconNicholson, where he led its most successful operating group. Ken's work has been honored by The New York Emmys, the One Show, Canne Lions, The Webby Awards, The Effies, OMMA's, MIXX Awards, Sammy's, Andy Awards, The Jay Chiat Awards, and others.

Another key member of the Deep Focus team, Matt Steinwald, has been promoted to Group Creative Director. Having joined Deep Focus in 2012, Matt's expertise bridges traditional and digital marketing, with a deep appreciation for the role of brand strategy.
