NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 26, 2013) - Deep Focus has won Best in Show/B2C in Branded Content for Beneful's "Hug Your Dog Day" at the W3 Awards, the International Academy of the Visual Arts announced yesterday.
The "digital agency for the social age" was also awarded three Golds for: Pepsi's "Live for Now" Social Media Campaign (Food and Beverage) and two for WellPoint's "WellPower" (General Health and Pharmaceuticals Websites). In addition, seven silvers were awarded to Deep Focus for a variety of campaigns including WellPoint's "WellPower," Purina's "Petcentric" campaign, Pepsi's "Live For Now" and Beneful's "Dog Goldberg."
The eleven awards follow recognition earlier this week from both MediaPost's OMMA and The Internationalist. At the OMMA awards, Deep Focus' viral "Dog Goldberg Machine" video for Purina's Beneful topped the Online Advertising Creativity/Video/Standalone Video category. The agency's work for Pepsi's Live for Now campaign also won the Integrated Online Campaign/Beverage (non-alcoholic) award. That same day The Internationalist named Deep Focus CEO Ian Schafer a 2013 global Innovator.
