VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 6, 2011) - Defiance Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:DEF) (the "Company") announces that it has appointed Davidson & Company, Chartered Accountants as the new auditors for the Company. Smythe Ratcliffe, Chartered Accountants (the "Former Auditor") have voluntarily resigned as auditors for the Company. The change in auditors is not as a result of any reportable event (as that term is defined in section 4.11 of National Instrument 51-102, Continuous Disclosure Obligations). Copies of the Notice of Change of Auditor and letters from Former Auditor and Successor Auditor have been SEDAR filed. Davidson & Company will be completing the Company's audit for its year ended June 30, 2011.
