DEKRA North America Hires Mary-Rose Nguyen as Vice President of Corporate Development

NORTH WALES, PA--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2015) - DEKRA North America (NA), Inc. announced that Mary-Rose Nguyen has joined the company in the new role of Vice President of Corporate Development for the DEKRA Certification Group. Nguyen will be responsible for growing the business throughout North America by building new assessment service offerings, and setting up strategic alliances and partnerships. 

Nguyen is the recipient of the Service Award and the Standard Development Award from the U.S. Mirror Committee on ISO TC 207- Environmental Management for engaging in and influencing the development of International environmental standards. She is currently the Vice Chair of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC 242 and ISO TC 257 for Energy Management, and was chosen to head the U.S. Delegation and to represent the U.S. as a Delegate to the ISO Technical Committee on Energy and the Environment.

Prior to joining DEKRA, Nguyen was a Principal at Strategy Advisory, a management consulting firm. Before that, she was the Chief Operating and Strategy Officer for PrinTree MPS LLC, a leader in managed print services. She has also served as VP Quality Management at TNS Global, Director of U.S. Operations for the Consumer Testing Service Division of SGS, and VP of Regulatory Affairs and Global Operations at Interpec among other high level executive positions.

Nguyen has 25 years of experience creating and sustaining effective operational infrastructures. For the past 18 years, she has been an international advocate for the development and implementation of various performance standards including quality management, environmental stewardship, energy efficiency, and workforce development. She has worked with diverse groups of stakeholders in the private and public sectors, across a wide range of industries, to build, grow, and transform businesses globally.
