FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - November 05, 2015) - Delavaco Group announced today that it has "agreed to terms" on a substantial funding package to Speed League, Inc. to help fuel its expansion plans.

Recently formed by industry innovator Brian Gale, Denver based Speed League organizes next generation motorsports competitions attractive to the millennial audience. Delavaco Group will be the lead investor in the non-brokered private placement transaction subject to final due diligence and definitive agreements.

With the investment, Delavaco CEO Andy De Francesco will be named to the board along with motorsports industry and ESPN X Games organizing veteran Geraldo Rodrigues.

"We have been analyzing opportunities in motorsports for the last couple of years and have taken note of the shifting landscape, including the rise of millennial oriented action motorsports competitions that appeal to a younger more energetic fan base," said De Francesco. "Speed League, along with its important media relationships and compelling content, provides the perfect entry point for our expansion into the industry and compliments some of our core investments such as iON Cameras. We are excited to invest in Speed League to help it take a leading position in a highly promising market, and look forward to leveraging our experience with disruptive and innovative platforms."

The financing will be used to develop a portfolio of unique motorsports events and proprietary championship series specifically targeting the fast growing action motorsports market and to build a world-class team to support those efforts.

"This investment is a tremendous vote of confidence in Speed League's future and the action motorsports market in general," said Brian Gale, CEO of Speed League. "We are thrilled to have Mr. De Francesco and Mr. Rodrigues join our board and look forward to drawing on their resources and expertise to help grow the League."
