Delaware North Companies' Special Destinations Provide Getaways for the Heart

Tenaya Lodge

Tenaya Lodge near Yosemite National Park has designed a romance package that visitors can take advantage of at any point between now and the end of March. The package includes a candlelight Chateaubriand dinner at the Sierra Restaurant, champagne on ice, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and a romance-themed gift basket including an aromatherapy eye pillow, a Yosemite meditations book, espresso beans, spa CD and more. The experience is enhanced with accommodations in the newly renovated honeymoon room, where visitors can enjoy 550 square feet of living space, including a private balcony, an extra-large whirlpool tub and luxurious down bedding.

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park offers a romance package which allows couples to spend two nights at either The Ahwahnee, Yosemite Lodge at the Falls or Wawona Hotel. Then, couples can enjoy dinner at any of the area's corresponding restaurants. They'll also find sparkling wine, a keepsake gift and chocolate dipped strawberries in their rooms.

Sequoia National Park

Not to be outdone, Wuksachi Lodge at Sequoia National Park has also developed its own Valentine's Day package. Visitors will find champagne, truffles and a single rose awaiting them in their room. They'll also be able to take a guided starlight snowshoe walk through Sequoia National Park with snowshoe rentals included. Package prices start at $152 a night.

Asilomar Conference Grounds

Asilomar Conference Grounds in Monterey, Calif. is offering special room rates of $112 for Feb. 13, 14 and 15. This bed-and-breakfast deal offers lodging for two, and full country-style breakfasts each morning. It also enables couples to spend their getaway immersed in the serene setting of Monterey's Peninsula.

The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel

The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel, nestled in New Hampshire's White Mountains, is hosting an entire week of romantic activities for traveling couples. Guests staying at any point from Feb. 9 to Feb. 16 can take advantage of the nightly packages. Each night of the week will feature starlight snowshoe walks and ice skating with hot cider and hot chocolate.
