Delphine Duchateau Joins Phoenix Healthcare, a Division of Phoenix Marketing International

RHINEBECK, NY and LONDON--(Marketwire - Aug 16, 2011) - Phoenix Marketing International (PMI), one of the fastest growing global marketing research firms, announced today the appointment of Delphine Duchateau as a Group Director based in its offices in Richmond, Surrey.

Delphine has 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector having started her career as a sales representative in France and then moving to the UK to become a consultant specialising in broad issues affecting the pharma industry. She previously worked at TNS Healthcare (now Kantar Health) for 8 years rising to Divisional Director in the Specialist Qualitative Unit, and more recently spent 5 years at Hall and Partners (H&P) as a Partner in the Health division.

A qualitative researcher at heart, Delphine has pioneered the use of digital platforms for qualitative research such as internet forums and mobile phone ethnography and has also enjoyed many opportunities to lead studies in emerging markets.

David Luery, Executive Vice-President - International, said of Delphine, "With extensive experience in 'advanced' qualitative research, especially branding and communication research, Delphine is well placed to offer strategic guidance and actionable advice to her healthcare clients. We are extremely pleased to have her join our growing team and look forward to her contribution. And it will be great to have her as a colleague once again."

His thoughts were echoed by Andrew Scott, Managing Director - International, who said, "We are delighted that Delphine has joined Phoenix Healthcare and her appointment demonstrates our continuing commitment to building an exceptional client service team that is equally strong in qualitative and quantitative research skills. Her experience in conducting research throughout the product lifecycle -- from early clinical target product profile evaluation, to communication development for both healthcare professionals and patients will be a major asset to our team."

Dr. Allen R. DeCotiis, Chairman of Phoenix Marketing International, commented, "One of the important reasons why Delphine joined our organization is our culture, an entrepreneurial environment founded on decentralized principles with absolutely no hint of 'corporateness.' Our culture didn't experience an evolution of sorts but was purposely put in place on our first day of operation many years ago because we wanted our research staff to know they could spend their time thinking about the research."
