Delphix Demonstrates Significant Growth and Momentum in EMEA Region

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM and MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 22, 2015) - Delphix, the market leader in Data as a Service, today announced that the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region has demonstrated significant business growth and momentum in the last 12 months after successfully growing its operations four-fold.

Delphix has furthered its leadership in delivering Data as a Service (DaaS) software and services in the United Kingdom and expanded into key EMEA markets including France and Germany. Since 2014 the company quadrupled its EMEA staff with additional sales, pre-sales, support, marketing, services and customer success professionals while doubling revenues in the region. Delphix also tripled its EMEA reseller channel, enabling more partners to deliver DaaS solutions across more regions.

In addition, Delphix strengthened its EMEA leadership team to meet accelerated demand for Delphix solutions across the region. Iain Chidgey was promoted to vice president of international sales to lead the Delphix EMEA and Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) sales organisations, and the company hired James Spafford as regional director for Northern Europe.

Delphix also continues to be recognised as an industry leader in the region. The company won the DevOps Solution Award at the prestigious Computing Vendor Excellence Awards and the Best Datacentre Project of the Year award at the Computer Weekly European User Awards 2015.

Delphix growth in EMEA echoes recent momentum for the company as a whole. In July 2015, Delphix secured $75 million in new funding, led by Fidelity Investments, and during the past year it also formed new strategic relationships with industry leaders including Amazon Web Services, Dell and SAP and was named a leader in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Structured Data Archiving and Application Retirement¹.
