Delta Uranium Corporate Update

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 9, 2008) - Delta Uranium Inc. ("Delta" or the "Company") (TSX:DUR) would like to congratulate Messieurs Wayne Isaacs, Kirk Boyd, Rick Bonner, Colin Bowdidge, John Cottrell, Pat Mohan and Stewart Wright on their re-election as directors at the recent Annual General and Special Shareholders' Meeting held June 26, 2008 (the "Meeting").

In addition to the confirmation of the Board of Directors, the Company is also pleased to announce that Wayne Isaacs (CEO), Kirk Boyd (EVP & COO) and Miles Nagamatsu (CFO) have been re-appointed in their respective positions.

Dr. Colin Bowdidge Appointed V.P. Exploration

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Colin Bowdidge as VP Exploration. Dr. Bowdidge has a degree in geology and mineralogy from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Edinburgh. He has 35 years of practical experience in mineral exploration and mine development, of which 11 years have been exclusively devoted to uranium exploration. Dr. Bowdidge has conceived, initiated, managed and executed uranium exploration programs in Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, Northwest Territories and Virginia.

In addition, the Company is also pleased to announce the appointments of Baldo Minaudo as VP Corporate Development, Steven Parker as Project Geologist - Northeastern Ontario and Amy Chute as Project Geologist - Northeastern Ontario.

Mr. Minaudo is a graduate of the Masters of Business Administration program from York University's Schulich School of Business. Mr. Minaudo has been active in spearheading many marketing and communication initiatives for major banks and has been in senior level strategic management activities in marketing, business development and market analysis.

Mr. Parker, a graduate geologist from Brock University, has over 25 years experience working for major mining and exploration companies as well as major consulting firms including 14 years with Golder Associates Ltd in the area of environmental operations.

Ms. Shute graduated with Honours from the Bachelor of Science in Geology program at Lakehead University and is currently completing her Masters of Science in Geology. A recipient of several awards and grants, Ms. Shute completed her summer work terms in the field, most recently as Project Geologist with a well known uranium exploration company in Northern Ontario.

In connection with the appointments, the Company has issued 1,770,000 options to directors, officers, employees and consultants. The options will have an exercise price of $1.00 and will expire July 8, 2013.

About the Company

Delta Uranium Inc. is engaged in the exploration of uranium in the Kenora and Timmins areas of Ontario, Canada. The Company recently completed the acquisition of the Kenora uranium property and holds interest in additional uranium and gold properties in Ontario.
