Demartek Evaluates Violin Memory 7300 FSP for Multiple Primary Storage Workloads

GOLDEN, CO--(Marketwired - September 25, 2015) - Demartek, an independent computer industry analyst firm with its own computer test lab, today announces that it has evaluated the Violin Memory 7300 Flash Storage Platform (FSP) for Multiple Primary Storage Workloads

"We wanted to see how well an all-flash array would handle multiple application workloads simultaneously," said Dennis Martin, Demartek President. "Unlike synthetic benchmarks, these workloads performed a mix of block sizes, read/write mix and access patterns, which is to be expected in real-world environments. We observed latencies in the low hundreds of microseconds at the storage system while all four workloads were running on the Violin Memory 7300 FSP."

This Demartek evaluation is available at: http://www.demartek.com/Demartek_Violin_Memory_7300_FSP_Multiple_Workloads_Evaluation_2015-09.html and in the Demartek SSD Zone on the Demartek web site.
