ORANGE COUNTY, CA--(Marketwired - August 21, 2013) - The EHG Fund, a charity founded by DentalXChange an Irvine, Calif. based technology company that specializes in providing online solutions to connect dentists, patients, and insurance companies, is proud to announce the funding of the Full-Circle Learning (FCL) Center's training efforts in Liberia and Zambia for 2013 and 2014.
These two developing countries have requested Full-Circle Learning training programs be made available to all schools in their regions. The EHG Fund's support will allow FCL to train more teachers and schools to promote a new and visionary mindset, and an educational model that gives teachers and students in poverty-stricken regions or war-torn countries, the strategies to improve their communities.
"These training programs are helping transform the future of these nations by focusing on educating youth," stated Kavian Maghzy, Chief Financial Officer of DentalXChange. "We are proud to support Full-Circle Learning as their efforts match our mission to help the disadvantaged throughout the world reach their full potential through education and healthcare."
DentalXChange has been a key supporter of Full-Circle Learning Centers programs by providing funding and as a venue, via The EHG Fund, for DentalXChange clients and employees to donate. "We encourage our counterparts in the dental industry to join in supporting institutions like Full-Circle Learning, to assist underserved individuals, globally and equipping them with the tools to build a better future," Maghzy went on to say.
FCL's programs abroad will help train and mentor teachers, with an emphasis on customization of the Full-Circle Learning model to integrate ethics and service into the implementation of local standards, to address community needs and honor local customs. The FCL will also serve as a liaison to help schools connect with collaborating schools, to foster global classroom relationships, which helps students honor the wisdom of peers abroad and to see local issues through a global lens.
"Other non-governmental organizations come to teach techniques," said the Education Minister of Liberia, the Honorable Tarpeh, who had requested a meeting with the Full-Circle Learning representative for Africa. "But Full-Circle Learning teaches a new mindset. This is what we need for our country."
The Education Ministry of Liberia has begun the first stages of a plan for the schools in undeveloped regions to become Full-Circle Learning schools, a process similar to the challenge taken up by FCL in Zambia.
