Denver Web Developer Neon Rain Helps Raise $145,000 for CASA

Neon Rain Interactive Helped CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties Raise $145,000 to Help Abused and Neglected Children

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Dec 19, 2013) - CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Adams County has volunteers who serve as advocates for children in the foster home system. Neon Rain, a Denver web development firm, has provided assistance to this organization for many years, and this year they were one of various businesses and donors that helped raise more than $145,000 to assist the organization. They also used a partnership with Stonebrook Manor to help reduce the venue cost.

When children enter the foster homes program, they need considerable attention to make sure their needs are met, including educational needs, health needs, therapy, and, ultimately, guiding them toward a permanent, loving home. CASA advocates become an independent voice for the children, speaking on their behalf in hearings, and making sure that judges have the most complete and up-to-date information necessary to make decisions in the child's best interests.

When asked about the contribution, Arif Gangji, founder and president of Neon Rain, said, "In deciding where to put our charitable dollars, Neon Rain focuses on charities that work to help children bring out potential that might otherwise be lost. This helps create a stronger community and gives long-term results as these children can become the community leaders of tomorrow."

Lisandra Gonzales, Executive Director of CASA for Adams and Broomfield Counties, added the following: "Our work, on behalf of abused and neglected children, would not be possible without the support of caring, community members such as the team at Neon Rain Interactive. Their support, both monetary and through their gracious service, helps ensure that we have the resources to recruit, train and supervise Volunteer Child Advocates who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children here in Adams and Broomfield Counties.

"It is important to realize that child abuse has many long-term significant effects on our community. Even a simple economic analysis demonstrates enormous direct costs that include medical care for injuries, substance abuse treatment for survivors, criminal justice system costs, just to name a few. Businesses who invest time and money into our organization, are helping to ensure a better future for children who have suffered from abuse and neglect and ultimately for our entire community."
