Denver Zoo Celebrates Spring Fling April 4

Event Features Easter Bunny Meet-and-Greet, Scavenger Hunt, Magic Show and More

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - April 01, 2015) - Denver Zoo invites the public to celebrate the beginning of spring at its Spring Fling event on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This first-ever event features activities for all ages, including a scavenger hunt, Easter Bunny meet-and-greet, magic show, education stations and more. Activities are included with Zoo admission.

Children will have the opportunity to win egg-cellent prizes as they embark on a scavenger hunt throughout the Zoo, before stopping by Conoco Zoo Gardens to watch jugglers and get their faces painted. And don't forget to bring a camera! The Easter Bunny will be on-site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Carousel Meadows for special meet-and-greet and photo opportunities.

Denver Zoo's animal residents will also partake in the spring festivities as they enjoy specially-themed enrichment, including dyed Easter eggs, paper mache sculptures and more. Animals from the Zoo's education collection will also be present at Conoco Zoo Gardens for special up-close encounters, weather permitting.
