Department of Homeland Security, FEMA Accepting Bids on Copy Machine Maintenance and Repair Services

Providers Must Be Based, Primarily Conduct Business in Louisiana


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - September 10, 2015) - The Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) issued a solicitation on Wednesday, September 9 for a firm fixed-price contract to provide maintenance and repair services for 26 copy machines located in two FEMA offices -- one in Baton Rouge and the other in New Orleans.

This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small businesses that reside or primarily conduct business in Louisiana. The contract period is from October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, with three one-year option periods. FEMA anticipates a September 29, 2015 award date.

Responses to this Request for Quote (RFQ) are due by Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 12 p.m. Offerors must submit an electronic version of the business’s technical and price quote together, but under separate cover. Quotes must be submitted to Contract Officer Neddra P. Tucker at neddra.Tucker@fema.dhs.gov. Quotes must include the business DUNS Number, Tax Identification Number, Small Business Status, and Authorized Representative contact information.

FEMA will base its award on a business’s technical approach, quality control plan, and price.
