Des Joachims Bridge-Lane Reductions

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 16, 2016) - Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Des Joachims Bridge due to work being conducted on the bridge.

As part of this work, the large single lane will be reduced down to 3.2 metres during the following periods:

• Wednesday, August 17, to Friday, August 19, 2016, from 7 am to 7 pm
• Monday, August 22, to Friday, August 26, 2016, from 7 am to 7 pm
• Monday, August 29, to Friday, September 2, 2016, from 7 am to 7 pm

In case of inclement weather, the work will be completed on Tuesday, September 6, and Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 7 am to 7 pm each day.

Motorists may encounter delays to accommodate the lane reductions.

These reductions are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
