Descartes to Debut Educational Webcast Series for Customers

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 3, 2005) - The Descartes Systems Group Inc. (Nasdaq:DSGX)(TSX:DSG), a leading provider of on-demand delivery management solutions and services for transportation, logistics, manufacturing, retail and distribution enterprises, today announced Descartes Delivers™, an educational webcast series designed to teach its customers how to more efficiently and effectively manage the movement of goods across the supply chain using the latest Descartes solutions.

The first Descartes Delivers webcast is planned for Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. EDT. Supply chain experts from Descartes will discuss the features and benefits of Descartes Reporting Services™ and Descartes KPI Metrics™-new reporting and data management services available to customers who use Descartes Delivery Management™ solutions.

The second Descartes Delivers webcast will take place Thursday, August 25, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. EDT and will highlight Descartes Monitor™-a mobile resource tracking and performance management solution (also known as automated vehicle locator or AVL) that integrates route planning systems and wireless data services to provide visibility into planned versus actual events as they occur.
