NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 13, 2007 -- Destroy Entertainment, an established market
leader and media studio, has a successful track record for developing and
delivering media programming to the physical (DVD/music) retailer and the
multiple platforms of digital delivery: mobile, VOD, and short form.
Destroy has been successful in building strategic relationships with
leading entertainment entities (Rhino & WEA) allowing the company to
establish a recognized presence in the marketplace. Destroy's
multi-platform marketing has dominated the coveted male market of ages
18-24.
After over 250,000 units being sold of the MISCHIEF brand, Destroy prepares
for the release of their newest DVD, "MISCHIEF VI: ASSAULT," due out on
2/13/07. The DVD is an all-out blitz with an introduction that shows a Z06
Vette slamming into a tree. It progresses into a road battle for the
masses with a reckless tour of CA, DC, FL, PA and NY.
Pro skater, Josh Kalis; model/actor, Tyson Beckford; and MISCHIEF series
stars -- Vader and Dado -- are highlighted in this release as are some
stunning crashes! "ASSAULT" features a school bus demolition derby, a
$750,000 exotic car crash and the pillaging of the Woodward dream cruise
with much more street racing, all set to a hot punk soundtrack from Lobster
Records.
The "MISCHIEF VI: ASSAULT" DVD release also coincides with the debut of the
new MISCHIEF short form/clip series slated to begin running on MTV2 and
MTV2.com in mid-February. Further details will be announced at
www.destroynetwork.com as they become available.
The next thrilling Destroy DVD release, which hits stores March 13th, will
be "Tokyo Underground," which takes viewers deep inside the world of
Japanese street racing and drifting culture. Filmed entirely at real
street gatherings and canyon roads all over Japan, the DVD gives an
unlimited access to this secret society.
Destroy Entertainment was founded in 2004 by lifestyle video veterans Eric
Boyd & Sean Murphy. Their mission: to introduce urban/street
culture/action sports content into the marketplace with an innovative
lifestyle and brand-driven approach. The two principals, with more than 20
years of brand-building experience between them, are known for developing
edgy video programming incorporating endemic sponsorships, event marketing
and music.
"Destroy is the voice for the independent, alternative genre producer,"
commented Boyd, Destroy Entertainment's CEO. "Our releases will create a
brand that the youth and young adults of today can identify with."
