Developer of the FargoTube Music/Video Platform Heads to SXSW Conference

ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - January 19, 2011) - Executives from F3 Technologies, Inc., (PINKSHEETS: FTCH), developer of FargoTube™, an innovative social-networking platform for monetizing music and videos, will promote FargoTube in March at North America's leading music and film conference.

South by Southwest (SXSW), a sprawling music, film and interactive festival held in Austin, Texas, has routinely drawn more than 30,000 industry professionals and journalists and more than 100,000 concertgoers. The conferences and trade shows, running from March 11-20 this year, are among the largest annual events in the music, film and gaming/interactive/online industries. Hundreds of panel discussions and exhibits cover topics from casting techniques to the virtual music scene and social-networking for musicians.

F3 Chief Operating Officer Paul Campbell said the three overlapping conferences represent an ideal opportunity to advance strategic partnerships for FargoTube and promote the platform to independent filmmakers, record labels and musicians. SXSW regularly helps launch unsigned bands and films into major distribution deals.

"Independent artists realize they have to take the initiative in promoting their own sales and small-label execs know they have to seek out new revenue streams as disc sales continue to weaken," Campbell said. "When they see FargoTube, they realize it's an indispensible part of their sales strategy."

FargoTube gives independent artists a unique opportunity to profit directly from their creative works in the setting of a social network. Musicians, filmmakers, remote instructors and other artists can upload their content free of charge and then make it available on a per-view, per-media file and/or subscription basis, setting prices and receiving 70 percent of the resulting revenue.

FargoTube empowers artists to sell their creations while facilitating direct contact with and among fans, thus replacing the faceless sale of digital files with an exciting new interactive digital marketplace experience.

FargoTube ( is an online distribution and social-networking platform that's free to musicians, record labels, filmmakers and other content owners, allowing them to upload their music and videos, build a fan site, sell merchandise and connect with their fans through a central service.
