Dexterra Achieves Strong Growth in Mobility Deployments Worldwide

Positive Channel Growth Mobilizes Tens of Thousands of Users in More Than 20 Countries

BOTHELL, WA--(Marketwire - March 25, 2008) - Dexterra, the business mobility company, today announced an important milestone from strong growth in customer deployments. In the past four months more than 20,000 new mobile workers have joined the growing numbers of mobile users around the world utilizing Dexterra to improve productivity and efficiency in the field. This new growth has been fueled by significant activity within Dexterra's development partners and channel sales communities.

Blue chip companies such as Masco Construction Services, Ricoh, Telstra, Verizon Communications and Virgin Media have all recently implemented large scale Dexterra-based solutions, each with thousands of mobile workers, using applications ranging from field service and sales on a variety of mobile devices, to tablets with mapping and location-based services installed in one of the largest vehicle fleets in North America.

"Thanks to the commitment and focus of our employees and partners, we've achieved a number of company and industry milestones, such as acquiring and servicing a record number of large-scale complex projects while simultaneously moving our business forward," said Rob Loughan, Chairman and CEO of Dexterra. "The aggressive investment in our partners is paying dividends in our ability to scale across industries and geographies. At one point, we were engaged with our partners in over 36 customer projects in 8 different countries, all at the same time. Efforts of this scale are impossible without a solid and functioning partner ecosystem."

Global Reach

With more than 180 customers and partners in more than 20 countries, Dexterra has continued to globally expand its relationships with regional and multi-national partners and customers with a wide variation of size and complexity.

Dexterra customers and partners now include 17 of the Fortune 500, seven of whom are ranked number one in their industry, eight of the Financial Times Europe 500, three of which are ranked number one in their industry, and six of the world's 10 largest telecommunications providers.

An example of a multi-national deployment that has taken advantage of Dexterra's international reach and localization capabilities is Tennant Company, a U.S.-based cleaning equipment manufacturer. Tennant uses Dexterra for their Field Service system, ServiceLINK, which is deployed to field workers in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.

"Dexterra's mobility solution has enabled our field workers to become a lot more efficient and productive. People talk about a truly global solution, but this one actually works," said Leo Suurmond, Service Development Manager for Tennant Company Europe. "By having a direct connection back to our servers in Minneapolis, we have eliminated an entire level of paperwork because job information is inputted directly into our SAP system."

Partner Ecosystem

A key cornerstone to Dexterra's success and business strategy is its sales and developer partner programs. The Dexterra partner ecosystem facilitates the design and sales of a broad offering of mobile applications on Dexterra Concert, the company's award-winning mobile platform. The Dexterra partner ecosystem now includes more than 40 value-added resellers and 12 telecommunications providers who contributed to more than half of Dexterra sales in 2007.

"As a Dexterra partner, we are implementing a number of successful and innovative mobile application solutions for our customers," said James Quigley, managing director for inCode, a Verisign company. "Dexterra technology, applications and support enable us to now provide our customers with mobile solutions that meet their expanding needs across a broad array of users, devices, and enterprise systems. We really can now deliver exactly what they need."
