Notes to Editors

dgm is the UK's leading independent online marketing group. The company uses three key online channels to deliver the highest possible return on investment for its clients: affiliate marketing (dgmPerformance), online advertising (dgmAdNetwork) and search engine marketing (dgmSearchLab). All business is measured to ensure a strong return is delivered for clients with over 80% percent of fees performance-based, i.e. clients only pay on results.

A range of the biggest UK brand names use dgm. The company now has more than 250 clients including; the AA, Alliance and Leicester, American Express, BT, B&Q, Cancer Research, Comet, Oxfam, Powergen, RAC, Tiscali, Virgin, William Hill and Woolworths. Marketing and media buying agencies working with dgm include; Carat, Zenith Optimedia, Manning Gottlieb Media and many more.

In 2004 dgm delivered over one million sales and 72 million visits from customers for its advertisers - an estimated 20 percent of the total sales generated by the performance-based marketing sector.

Tracking customer response

dgm tracks customer response to its campaigns so that clients get the best possible value. It has its own proprietary tracking software, dgmAdReports, that measures response rates both from consumers clicking on advertisements and those that transact with advertisers after seeing advertisements. The software tracks what action customers take once they've clicked through to a website and is therefore able to monitor sales, information requests, registrations or other customer actions.

This tracking software helps dgm advise clients on which campaigns deliver the highest volume of transactions. Clients can tell exactly which advertisements are performing well for them and optimise their campaigns to generate the maximum return.

The Company

Adrian Moss, CEO, founded the Group in 1999 with the launch of the UK's first independent affiliate marketing company, ukaffiliates.com. It was started with Pounds Sterling 350,000 initial capital, securing a further Pounds Sterling 2 million funding from 14 individuals.

In September 2003, the Group was subject to a reverse takeover by IBnet plc, who owned search engine marketing specialist, Webgravity.

dgm is now a wholly owned subsidiary of AIM Listed Deal Group Media plc and operates in the UK, mainland Europe (from its Spanish office) and Australia. It employs 80 people. The Company has a market capitalisation of Pounds Sterling 90 million.
