D&H and ScanSource Join GTDC

Membership Continues to Grow in Worldwide IT Distribution Industry Association

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - At its annual Rising Star Awards event last night, the Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC) announced the addition of two new members: D&H and ScanSource, Inc. The GTDC is a worldwide association dedicated to the IT distribution industry, its growing value and continually evolving success in meeting the needs of today's technology resellers, solution providers and retailers across the globe.

Harrisburg, Penn.-based D&H Distributing is one of North America's oldest and largest wholesale distributors of computer and consumer electronics products, with a 90-year history serving the reseller channel. ScanSource, Inc., headquartered in Greenville, S.C., operates as a wholesale distributor of specialty technology products, providing two-tier distribution sales and value-added services to resellers in the Americas and Europe.
