Diadem President Resigns

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 29, 2006) - Diadem Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DRL) announced today that Rodney N. Thomas had resigned as a Director, President and CEO of the Company. Mr. Thomas has asked the Company to advise that his resignation was to permit him to pursue other business interests.

In its news release of February 20, 2006, Diadem announced that, following a strategic review, its Board of Directors had determined to broaden the corporate focus of the Company. Currently, Diadem is primarily a diamond and gold exploration company. Its current principal projects are the Franklin diamond project in Canada's Northwest Territories which are being readied for drilling later in the Spring of 2006 and the Diokeba, Dalakan, Sinzeni and Tinkeleni gold projects in Mali, West Africa, on which some preliminary work has been done and the results announced.

The Company's expanded focus will include consideration of production and near-production mining opportunities, especially those related to gold. For this reason, the Company has not yet retained a new President. In the interim, Paul A. Carroll, Chairman, has assumed the additional responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer. In considering candidates for President, the Company is mindful of the broader corporate focus which includes a development strategy.
