DIAGNOS and Medical Technology Service Providers (MTSP) Announce Agreement

BROSSARD, QUEBEC, CANADA--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2010) - DIAGNOS inc. ("DIAGNOS" or "the Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ADK), a leader in the use of artificial intelligence and advanced knowledge-extraction techniques, announces today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Medical Technology Service Providers (MTSP) that will establish a mobile diabetic retinopathy screening service in Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec.

"We are pleased to proceed with a mutually beneficial formal agreement with MTSP. Under the terms of the partnership, DIAGNOS and MTSP will work together in offering DIAGNOS' Computer Assisted Retinal Analysis (CARA) software to MTSP'S existing client base (which includes 200 ophthalmology practices), as well as private clinics, Ontario Family Health Units, First Nations diabetic programs, endocrinologist offices, and hospital practices focusing initially in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia," said Andre Larente, CEO of DIAGNOS.

"At MTSP we are always working to deliver leading-edge technologies that help doctors' offices run more efficiently while improving patient access to medical care. The partnership with DIAGNOS inc. reinforces our position at the forefront of ophthalmic imaging and enables us to offer a valuable screening tool for early-stage diabetic retinopathy on an on-demand basis. Clinicians will be in a better position to refer patients to the most appropriate caregiver, who can then record and monitor patients' progress in managing their disease. With the incidence of diabetes growing at an alarming pace, we are proud to support a program that may help preserve Canadians' vision, and pleased to partner with an industry leader like DIAGNOS," said Michael Thompson, president and CEO of MTSP Canada.

About the DIAGNOS / Medical Technology Service Providers Agreement

Under the terms of the agreement between DIAGNOS and MTSP, clients will be offered a turn-key screening service comprised of a Zeiss fundus camera, CARA software, and image grading interface. Qualified professionals will read and annotate images and findings will be reported to the responsible specialists for final diagnosis. MTSP will invoice the patient or insurer, and pay DIAGNOS directly.
