Diagnostic Imaging International Announces Expansion of Schuylkill Medical Imaging to Include Computerized Axial Tomography

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(Marketwired - March 31, 2014) - Diagnostic Imaging International Corp. (OTCQB:DIIG) ("DIIG"), a provider of advanced fixed-base and remote medical diagnostic imaging services to clients across the U.S. and Canada, today announced that it will be introducing high quality, out-patient computerized axial tomography (CT) scanning capabilities to complement existing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services at Schuylkll Medical Imaging ("SMI") in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of DIIG, SMI is the premier medical imaging facility serving patients and medical care providers in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; and has provided high quality medical diagnostic imaging services to patients and referring physicians in the region for more than 11 years. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, SMI has the first and only Open MRI in Schuylkill County and has earned a respected reputation within the communities it serves through its board certified radiologists, highly trained technologists, state-of-the-art medical equipment and advanced technology matched with exceptional care and service.

DIIG has completed a strategic $300,000 convertible debt financing with an accredited investor to finance the purchase of a high speed, 16-slice CT scanner and to lease and build-out new office space contiguous with SMI's current medical imaging clinic to house the new CT scanning center. Commenting on the expansion initiative, DIIG CEO Mitch Geisler, stated, "We expect to have SMI's new CT imaging center completed and ready to begin accepting patients within the next 90-120 days. We are excited to be offering these new services and choices to the Schuylkill County community "

Dr. John Chawluk, Medical Director of SMI, added, "Using this specialized imaging equipment, we are able to create and interpret CT scans of the human body that allow our radiologists and referring physicians to readily diagnose problems such as cancers, cardiovascular disease, infectious disese, trauma and musculoskeletal disorders. We are delighted to be integrating this in-demand diagnostic imaging capability into SMI's service platform, which will undoubtedly serve to further improve and enhance the care and medical outcomes of the patients we serve."
