Diamant Art Corporation Announces Revolutionary Additive to Undergo Testing in North America for the Rendering of Integrated Plastic PET Bottles Biodegradable

Diamant Plans for Submission of Additive to Leading Bottling Companies for Scientific Evaluation in North America

TORONTO--(Marketwire - May 6, 2008) - Diamant Art Corporation (OTCBB: DIAAF) through its wholly owned subsidiary Diamant Film Inc. is pleased to announce that they are about to begin trials for use of their oxo biodegradation technology in the manufacturing of plastic PET (polyethylene terephthalate with Leading Bottling Companies for Scientific Evaluation in Noth America. The additive has been subject to research in Europe and initial results indicate that it will work to create a degradable plastic PET bottle. By utilizing the proprietary additive in a manufacturing environment, these evaluations will determine the integration suitability for North American Plastic Bottling Manufacturing systems.

Once determined that it will render plastic PET bottles biodegradable, Diamant will apply for FDA testing to begin as legislative pressure continues to build for ecological change this rapidly evolving marketplace.

This revolutionary bottling additive is a proprietary material that is blended into polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which in addition to its biodegrading qualities, can now be used to package a range of shelf-stable products, including salsas, pasta and barbecue sauces, tomato ketchups, similar steak and table hot sauces, jams, jellies, juices, and bottled beverages such as sodas and water.
