Diamant Corporation Announces Strategy to Introduce Exclusive Plastic Bottle Degrading Solution, as Major Cities Across the Nation Prepare for the Largest Earth Day Gatherings in U.S. History

TORONTO--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - Diamant Corporation (OTCBB: DIAAF) is pleased to announce the completion of their initial trials for bio-degrading plastic bottles. Diamant prepares for the introduction of the additive in North America to contribute to solve the plastic water bottle pollution problem. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5279230/

This revolutionary bottling additive is a proprietary material that will be blended into polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the plastic used in water bottle manufacturing. PET has the capability of giving an exceptional glass-like clarity and gloss and will now be able to become bio-degradable. PET bio-degradable bottles and containers can now be used to package a range of shelf-stable products, including salsas, pasta and barbecue sauces, tomato ketchups, similar steak and table hot sauces, jams, jellies, juices, and bottled beverages such as sodas and water.

Concurrently today, on a worldwide scale, this Earth Day 2008 is expected to be the largest celebrated to date. From Tokyo to Togo, flagship events will be galvanizing millions of people around the world behind a Call for Climate, this year's global warming action theme.

From the National Mall in Washington, DC to 7 other major U.S. cities, hundreds of events are emerging all over the globe and it's anticipated that today, April 22, 2008 is anticipated to be recorded as one of the most memorable Earth Days in history. Due to the massive growth in awareness recently, it's anticipated that the call to petition government officials, and the urge to propose significant and equitable actions on climate change will yield monumental results in this rapidly emerging plastic bio-degradation industry.
