Diamond Frank Finished a Major Aeromagnectic Survey On Its Properties

LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - June 9, 2008) - Diamond Frank Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DOD)("Diamond Frank") has announced that it has just finished a major aeromagnetic survey of its G-10 and Ikirtuuq properties.

The G-10 and Ikirtuuq properties are located more than 150 km southwest of Kuujjuaq. The survey was conducted by the geophysical company NOVATEM. A total of 575 line-kilometers were surveyed. The purpose of this survey was to better define an important east-west structure that is visible on federal magnetic maps and which is located to the north of the property.

During the geological reconnaissance phase conducted in the fall of 2007, an angular block of ultramafic rock was sampled on the property. The block was sampled and sent for a petrographic study and major element analysis. According to Modelaur from Val d'Or, a firm specialized in petrographic studies, the rock appears to be an alkaline-ultramafic rock of hypabyssal origin. The major element analysis confirms this hypothesis: MgO, Na2O, K2O levels, as well as loss on ignition (LOI), are elevated.

Following that discovery, Diamond Frank Exploration Inc. acquired a new property (G-10) so as to be able to properly cover the magnetic anomaly, potentially originating from a deep-level fracture.

That significant structure could be indicative of the presence of kimberlitic rock. Diamond Frank Exploration is currently planning a survey of glacial sediment aimed at finding kimberlitic indicator minerals on its properties.
