Diamond I's Free Poker Web Site Providing Bridge to Company's GS3™ Wireless Handheld Gaming Unit
Company's IslandBlueCasino.net Generates Revenues and Serves as Marketing Research Tool for Future WifiCasino Installations
BATON ROUGE, LA--(Marketwire - March 18, 2008) - Diamond I, Inc. (OTCBB: DMOI) announced
today that, with the success of its first virtual casino,
IslandBlueCasino.net, it has been able to begin the process of refining its
game offerings, not only for the IslandBlueCasino.net players, but also for
future users of DMOI's GS3 wireless handheld gaming unit in casinos.
"Due to the volume of IslandBlueCasino.net's players, especially the volume
of registered players, we have determined that the game-usage sample sizes
are large enough to use in creating and evaluating our future game
offerings at IslandBlueCasino.net and future online casinos," said DMOI's
CEO, David Loflin. IslandBlueCasino.net not only brings revenues to our
company through our click-through advertising program, it also provides us
direct access to important consumer preference information. This consumer
preference information will be most useful when we begin to market our
WifiCasino wireless gaming system, which includes the GS3 handheld unit, to
casinos and other gaming-friendly venues," added Mr. Loflin.
DMOI recently announced that IslandBlueCasino.net experienced an increase
of over 50% in registered players at the casino's virtual tables from
December 2007 to February 2008 and entertained over 25,000 distinct hits
during February 2008, a 66% increase over November 2007's number of hits.
The company also announced that the increased site traffic allowed for
IslandBlueCasino.net to continue to derive monthly revenues from its
click-through advertising program with www.Amazon.com.
