Digabit Announces Partnership With AssetWorks

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - November 9, 2010) - Digabit, Inc. has announced a partnership with AssetWorks, a leading provider of fleet management software and automated fuel management systems. Digabit's Documoto Web Application integrates with AssetWorks' asset management system, providing a "shopping cart" capability for ordering parts from within Documoto.

The first integration of AssetWorks and Documoto is being deployed at Regional Transport District (RTD). Dean Shaklee, RTD, General Superintendant, Maintenance, said, "The integration of AssetWorks and Documoto allows our mechanics to easily identify the correct part the first time, and then transfer the part numbers from the web based parts catalog into a requisition directly within the AssetWorks application, automating the parts ordering process. This process both assures accuracy in the parts ordering process and avoids the high cost of ordering the wrong part(s), saving time and money. We estimate the Documoto and AssetWorks integration will save mechanics a significant amount of time over the years."

Jim Schnepp, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, AssetWorks, said, "We are pleased to add Digabit as one of our technology partners. The Documoto solution is very complementary to our EAM product lines and an enhancement that will be welcomed by our customers."

Alan Sage, President of Digabit, noted, "Documoto is a fresh approach to an old problem that is very familiar to asset intensive industries like RTD. Documoto is both low cost, and quick to implement, which makes it an ideal complement to any FASuite implementation. We are pleased to be working with two exceptional organizations, AssetWorks and RTD, to deliver this much needed capability to the industry."
