Digidev Group Adds "Something Weird" to Online TV Distribution

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 20, 2012) - Digital Development Group Corp. (OTCBB: DIDG) ("Digidev," "Digidev Group" or the "Company"), a development stage company aiming to offer an in-depth portfolio of content for Internet TV distribution, is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") towards a licensing agreement with the intent to develop a "Something Weird Channel" for online viewers of the Company's proprietary content streaming platform.

The agreement was entered into with Something Weird Video, Inc. a Washington corporation ("SWV") ( founded in the early 1990s offering access to an extensive compilation of films from the 1930s through to the 70s that had never before been offered in video formats. Specializing in offbeat genres including the film collections of renowned "King of Sexploitation" David F. Friedman plus titles from the acclaimed "Godfather of Gore" Herschell Gordon Lewis amongst many others, the SWV library is a treasure trove of the unconventional, unusual and interesting that captures the imagination of true film fans from around the globe.

As noted previously, Digidev is targeting the rapidly expanding and revolutionary OTT technology arena in order to facilitate the online delivery of movies, games & apps to millions of desktops, mobile and smart TV devices around the World. "OTT" or Over-The-Top Home Entertainment Media targets DVD players, video game consoles, mobile products and Smart TVs with built-in Internet connectivity. These devices piggyback on existing network services in consumers' homes or offices; pull content from the Internet and deliver it to their TV set or internet enabled device. Such devices are referred to as "over-the-top" because the service rides "on top" of the internet connection subscribers already use.

Using Digidev's innovative proprietary technology, content providers like the "Something Weird Channel" will be able to reach out to previously "un-reachable" audiences with an easy to use, multi-purpose platform resulting in the ultimate engagement connecting a massive audience of new online viewers to a vast network of content owners, developers and producers.

Mike Vraney, President of Something Weird, says, "Our wacky/wonderful films have found a new home with the Digidev Group, who will take our unique content and infect a whole new generation of cinephiles around the world to the weird world of Something Weird. We thank Marty and the gang for adding us to the Digidev Group roster of internet TV channels."

Digidev President, Joe Q. Bretz, notes, "I own copies of every single title available on DVD from the 'Something Weird' library and am beyond excited that we have joined forces to bring this amazing catalogue to an entirely new audience."

Martin W. Greenwald, CEO of Digidev, adds, "I am thrilled to continue both my personal and business relationship with Something Weird Video and their 'content master' Michael Vraney. The SWV library is not only a huge body of work, but also includes hundreds of treasured films that have never enjoyed wide distribution. The OTT universe and its potential to become arguably the most aggressive worldwide distribution model ever will drive this programming to literally hundreds of millions of potential fans. Thank you Michael for entrusting us with these gems!"
