DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - June 21, 2016) - Digiflare announces the launch of a new innovation lab in Denver today, marking a strategic step in enhancing the company's US operations. Founded in Toronto in 2008, the company has since partnered with major media network and pay TV operator brands to launch OTT and TV Everywhere streaming apps on mobile, game console, and connected TV platforms.
To date, Digiflare has deployed apps with customers on Videa, its cloud-based video app publishing platform, as well as through custom professional services development. The Denver expansion will strengthen Digiflare's ability to provide US customers like Charter Communications with engineering support at the local level and serve as a new venue for product innovation.
The company joins Galvanize, an incubator community that mixes entrepreneurs with skilled programmers, engineers, and talented students at its Denver Platte campus. Becoming a part of the Galvanize campus will put Digiflare in touch with top local engineering talent. The company has already operationalized this strategy, having utilized talent sourced through Galvanize with several major media brands and operators in the Denver area and West Coast region.
