Digital Ally Enters South American Market With Initial Pilot Program for One of Its Largest Metropolitan Police Forces

New Distributor to Supply DVM-800 In-Car Video/Audio Systems to Its South American Customers

LENEXA, KS--(Marketwired - Jan 11, 2016) -  Digital Ally, Inc. (NASDAQ: DGLY) ("Digital" or the "Company"), which develops, manufactures and markets advanced video surveillance products for law enforcement, homeland security and commercial applications, today announced the sale of DVM-800 in-car digital/audio systems to a distributor to begin a pilot program with one of the largest metropolitan police forces in South America. The metropolitan police force pilot program represents a potential to equip over 8,000 officers with Digital Ally products starting with in-car video systems and potentially expanding to body-worn cameras in the future.

The distributor is securing DVM-800 systems from Digital Ally in order to support one of its largest law enforcement customer's evaluation of the benefits and features of our DVM-800 in-car video/audio system. The distributor also expects to expand the pilot programs to several other law enforcement customers located in South America in 2016. The distributor's initial order includes a total of 80 DVM-800 in-car video/audio systems by the end of January, with deliveries beginning immediately and continuing through the end of the fiscal first quarter.

The DVM-800 is a top-of-the-line in-car video/audio system, fully integrated into a rear view mirror, and primarily designed for law enforcement personnel. This system utilizes two internal fixed-focus cameras and two external cameras, for a total of four video streams.
