Digital Ally Receives Multiple GSA Orders for Body Cameras and In-Car Audio/Video Systems


LENEXA, KS--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2015) - Digital Ally, Inc. (NASDAQ: DGLY) ("Digital" or the "Company"), which develops, manufactures and markets advanced video surveillance products for law enforcement, homeland security and commercial applications, today announced several initial "package" orders for its FirstVu HD body-worn cameras, DVM-800 and DVM-500 Plus digital in-car audio/video systems, VuVault™ server software and VuLink™ automatic activation systems.

To date, more than one thousand agencies have implemented the FirstVu HD body-worn camera solution and over 6,000 agencies are using the Company's in-car digital audio/video systems.

The orders listed below came through Digital Ally's Schedule 84 Contract with the General Services Administration ("GSA"). GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to commercial products and services at volume discount pricing. These products can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors or through the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system.

Public Safety Business Center, Fort Campbell, Kentucky

Fort Campbell, home to the only Air Assault Division in the world, sets the standard for integrating and delivering installation services and base support to ensure readiness, empower resiliency and enable solders. The order, for a package of 20 DVM-800 in car audio/video systems, 25 FirstVu HD body-worn cameras and 20 VuLink systems, is expected to ship in the current quarter.

Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Irwin, California

Fort Irwin and the National Training Center is a major training installation for the United States Military that conducts tough, realistic, Unified Land Operations with Unified Action Partners to prepare Brigade Combat Teams and other units for combat, while taking care of soldiers, civilians, and family members. The order is for a package of 33 FirstVu HD body-worn cameras, 25 DVM-500 Plus digital in-car audio/video systems, 25 VuLink systems and VuVault software. The order is expected to ship in the current quarter.

Cobb County School District Police Department, Marietta, GA

As the second-largest school system in Georgia, the Cobb County School District Police Department is responsible for serving more than 111,000 students and 16,000 faculty and staff personnel at 114 schools in a diverse, constantly changing suburban environment in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The initial order is for 60 FirstVu HD body-worn cameras and VuVault server software. This purchase represents Digital Ally's first foray into the educational market segment. The order is expected to ship in the current quarter.

The DVM-500 Plus is Digital Ally's legacy in-car digital audio/video system that is integrated into a rear-view mirror primarily designed for law enforcement. The unit has automatic recording triggers, such as activating lights, sirens, light bar, speeding, crash sensors, record buttons and/or activating the external transmitter. Along with video and audio, the DVM-500 Plus records the following metadata: date, time, speed, braking actions, turn signals, sirens, lights, GPS and radar.
