Digital Dispatch Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 15, 2005) - Digital
Dispatch Systems Inc. (TSX:DD)

Vari Ghai, President and Chief Executive Officer of Digital Dispatch
Systems Inc. (TSX:DD), is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce
Watson as Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective immediately.

"Mr. Watson brings to the company a wealth of experience as a former
partner in a 'Big Four' accounting firm," noted Mr. Ghai, "plus
subsequent experience as an officer and director of public and private
companies, in both operations and financial roles. His addition to our
executive team is a significant step in our strategy of augmenting the
strength of our management team in all areas."

Mr. Watson was a managing partner with KPMG Peat Marwick from 1981 to
1993, serving a broad base of clients in various offices in Western
Canada. He served as Executive Vice President of The Loewen Group, based
in Cincinnati, Ohio, during its very successful growth period from 1993
to 1996, and his most recent position was as Chief Financial Officer of
LearnStream Inc., a private company, where he was based in metro
Washington, DC. Mr. Watson holds a Joint Honours degree in Law and
Economics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and is a Chartered
Accountant.

In addition to overseeing the Company's finance and accounting
functions, including securities compliance and financial planning, Mr.
Watson will play a significant role in the Company's overall strategic
planning process and the Company's previously-announced strategy of
seeking appropriate merger and acquisition opportunities.
