Digital Dispatch Gains Momentum in New Markets

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 29, 2005) - Digital Dispatch Systems Inc.'s (TSX:DD) diversification strategy has gained further momentum with the announcement of new contracts in the transit/paratransit and emergency roadside assistance markets and an additional order from an existing customer in the black car market. These contracts are worth over $1 million in total.

In the transit/paratransit markets, Digital Dispatch will provide Avail Technologies Inc. of State College, Pennsylvania, with over 200 Vector 530™ mobile data terminals and communication infrastructure for two projects. Avail will install Vector 530™s in vehicles operated by Volusia County Public Transit System (VOTRAN) of Daytona Beach, Florida. VOTRAN provides fixed route transit as well as paratransit services. Avail has also chosen the Vector 530™ for its Blue Grass Community Action Agency in Kentucky. Blue Grass is involved in operating rural transit systems in nine counties in Kentucky and provides demand response as well as an inter-city route between Danville and Lexington.

In the emergency roadside assistance market, Digital Dispatch will provide iPilot 8000™ mobile computers to the American Automobile Association (AAA)'s Mid-Atlantic and East Tennessee chapters, which are based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Knoxville, Tennessee, respectively. The iPilot 8000™ will support AAA Mid-Atlantic's communication needs over a common cellular data network. This auto club currently serves 3.4 million members in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. The iPilot 8000™ interfaces with D2000 application software developed by AAA National and provides increased onboard memory as well as removable memory cards for Tow and Lockout Manuals and future applications.

In the black car market, Vital Transportation Inc. of Long Island City, New York, will purchase 90 additional MC 1790™ mobile computers for its fleet. These will be in addition to the 350 MC 1790™s that Vital Transportation has already deployed.
