Digital Dispatch Wins Over $1 Million in New Contracts

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 8, 2005) - Digital Dispatch Systems Inc. (TSX:DD) has achieved new landmarks with its latest new contracts. In a market expansion from its traditional base in larger cities, Digital Dispatch will replace a competitive system at United Cab Class Ltd. in Fort McMurray, Alberta, while in the greater Los Angeles area of California, Digital Dispatch will soon have one of its largest systems deployments with the latest additions for San Gabriel Transit Inc. of El Monte. The two new contracts are together worth over $1 million including service agreements.

For United Cabs, the new dispatch solution includes Vector 530™ mobile data terminals, dispatch software and communications infrastructure. "We decided to go with a more advanced and GPS-enabled system," said Ed Abdo, owner of United Class Cabs. "Our goal is to minimize response time to customers with mapping and GPS, as well as increase our efficiency by offering some self-serve options to our regular and account customers. These will be possible with the new system, which will also give us a competitive edge."

In California, San Gabriel already has 700 of Digital Dispatch's mobile data terminals deployed and is now adding another 140 iPilot 8000™ mobile computers with Destinator™ turn-by-turn navigation and support software. This new system will interface with their existing unique dispatch environment that allows them to switch between taxi and scheduled demand response services.

"This has been a very successful week for us," said John Taylor-Wilson, Vice President of North American Sales for Digital Dispatch. "We welcome United Cab as our new customer. This will be our fourth system in Alberta, reinforcing the growing recognition for our products in that region. We are also very excited about San Gabriel's decision to deploy our top-of-the-line mobile computers to work in conjunction with our older mobile data terminals. This is an example of how the backward compatibility and versatility of our products give our customers the flexibility they need."
