BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2012) - Digital Lumens, developer of the market-leading Intelligent LED Lighting System, today announced that it has been named a 2012 Green Business by Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino.

Presented by Mayor Thomas M. Menino, the 6th Annual Mayor's Green Awards celebrate the broad spectrum of Boston-based businesses that are making Boston a greener and more sustainable city. Digital Lumens was recognized for helping reduce industrial customers' energy use in Boston.

"We are honored to receive this award, and offer our sincere thanks to Mayor Menino and Boston's Environmental & Energy Services team for their efforts to support the growing clean technology community in Boston, while making the city more sustainable for its residents," said Tom Pincince, President and CEO of Digital Lumens.
