DigitalTown Board of Directors Elects Linda Thrasher Next Chief Executive Officer


MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2014) - DigitalTown, Inc. (OTCQB: DGTW) announced today that its board of directors has elected Linda Thrasher as the next chief executive officer effective March 10, 2014. Thrasher will succeed Richard Pomije, the company's founder and chief executive officer. Pomije will continue to chair DigitalTown's board of directors.

Thrasher currently serves as the corporate practice leader at Himle Rapp & Company, Inc. Prior to joining Himle Rapp, Thrasher served as Mosaic's Vice President of Public Affairs and was responsible for building the brand and reputation of the Fortune 500 company. Thrasher previously held the position as the director of public policy in Cargill Incorporated's Washington, D.C. office. She holds a B.A. in English and political science from St. Catherine University and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. Thrasher serves on the boards of St. Catherine University and the YWCA of Minneapolis and is a member of the Minnesota Women's Economic Roundtable.
