DigitalTown, Inc. Signs Letter of Intent on 20 Year Access to Its Community Domains for Education Use


MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2013) - DigitalTown, Inc. (OTCQB: DGTW) announced today that it signed a letter of intent to work with the NIAAA (The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association) on a 20 year plus usage rights time frame on a broad range of issues with its 22,000 plus community domain portfolio.

The main goal is to ensure access to the domains for use by educational institutions and communities across open systems with major internet and software platforms in the cloud providing world-class technologies. This would be for both non-profit and for-profit use.

Topics such as long term digital rights management across multiple forms of media, safe secure communications, sports reporting and more are being worked on for the domains.
