DigSound, Inc. Produces Image Song for Fox TV Station

"Something for Everyone" Written for Fox Affiliate WTNZ in Knoxville

SANTA MONICA, CA and KNOXVILLE, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 4, 2006 -- DigSound, Inc. ("DigSound," (PINKSHEETS: DGSU) is pleased to announce the delivery and on-air broadcast of a new Image Song titled "Something for Everyone" for Raycom Media Station-owned WTNZ of Knoxville, TN. The song, as it airs, contains DigSound's embedded audio watermark, which not only allow composers to track on-air broadcasts in near real-time, but also helps the station automate its reporting requirements.

An "Image Song" is critical for the branding of a TV station. When combined with video, the track must convey the flavor or image of the station, its programming and the surrounding community it serves. The Image Song is the melody that immediately comes to mind when the audience watches the station's news, weather updates, public service announcements or commercials.

"DigSound's song really hits the mark," said Kimay Block, WTNZ Marketing manager and TV broadcast veteran. "With just the right combination of instrumentation, arrangement and vocal styling, the song paints an exciting picture of WTNZ and the market we serve. When we looked at the overall quality of the song, we knew that DigSound was the perfect complement to round out our new station image campaign. Their expertise and resources to collaborate online with a pool of composers and artists attracted the perfect match of talent we needed. The result is 'Something for Everyone,' and we are extremely pleased with DigSound and our community's positive reception of the song in such a short time."

Aside from the quality of DigSound's music, John Hayes, WTNZ General Manager, added, "When DigSound showed us the features of the VR24/7 platform, we were very impressed and anxious to be involved. We are now able to access promo reports and help automate our cue sheet reporting, which makes our work easier and much more efficient. I look forward to working with DigSound again in the future."

"Something for Everyone" has been licensed to WTNZ for a period of two years. The song will appear in on-air and off-air promotions during that time.

Paul Martin, President of DigSound, commented, "I am very pleased to be able to work with WTNZ Fox 43. It is exciting to know that DigSound's aggressive strategy of marketing composers over the Internet can assist with the brand marketing and image campaign of a local TV station." Martin continued, "I have been pitching traditional music companies to TV stations for nearly 15 years and, in that time, there was a continually persistent nervousness among most composers because they would not know how their music would be distributed. Now VR24/7 and its detailed, near real-time reporting ability can show both the broadcaster and the composer when and where the music is being played, down to the time of day and specific market stations. Artists view the platform's ability as a more responsible and trusted method of reporting and opens up the prospects of allowing more of their content to be licensed."
