The Dinerstein Companies Announces Four New Student Housing Properties Under Construction

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Oct 26, 2011) - Sterling University Housing, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dinerstein Companies, announced the development of four LEED for Homes Silver Certified off-campus student housing developments -- all scheduled for completion in August of 2012.

Sterling continues to build nationwide as evidenced by the geographic dispersion of these four properties -- two are currently under construction in Southern California, one in Texas, and one in Florida. Specific to California, Sterling student housing in San Diego will be completed within walking distance to San Diego State University and the University of California-Riverside. Sterling is also under construction on a mixed used development directly across the street from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and a student housing community in Tampa, Florida next door to the University of South Florida.

Sterling continues to lead the nation in sustainable, green construction. To date, the company has completed ten LEED Certified student housing and apartment projects, the highest figure in the country.
