DIOS Exploration Reports Encouraging Results on Chibouki, Quebec

MONTREAL, CANADA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 16, 2006) - DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) reports encouraging results on its wholly-owned CHIBOUKI project, southern James Bay region, Quebec. Follow-up work and diamond drilling is planned.

DIOS completed in late August a high priority follow-up program of detailed glacial till sampling to check newly identified kimberlite geophysical targets located up-ice of kimberlite indicator mineral dispersal trains. These samples were taken and processed in a rush so as to receive results before the winter.

The kimberlite targets were suggested in the recent summer detailed tight-spacing low altitude helicopter borne magnetic survey completed at the head of previously delineated kimberlite indicator mineral dispersal trains. Results obtained revealed that kimberlite indicator mineral counts have notably increased in the samples nearing these new targets. Results from mineral identification studies (picking-microprobe) are being compiled and interpreted in view of a drilling campaign. The idea is to drill some of these targets, before doing any further till sampling, to confirm if the increase in KIM counts leads to these sources. The CHIBOUKI property is a very large property with good road access where operation costs are significantly decreased due to easier logistics, enabling follow-up work in late Fall.

DIOS is a major diamond explorer in Quebec.
